The last 3 are different views of #3. They show off some of the details already modeled.
All of these are screenshots from within Deled.
I think I needed to smooth the pipe in the last shot. Embarassed

I call it a "space scope" becouse in the original game, you can open the bottom hatch and look thru to space.

The model is not bad but the texturing needs work (the bricks are deadly oversized).

The bricks are the same size as the ones in the original game. I always thought they were too big too, so may shrink them a bit.

Edit to add:

Shrunk the bricks and lit the room

Those are not bricks in the original game; those are limestone blocks. If you want that look, you have to make the grout a lot thinner in the texture you're using, which, in turn, probably means you need a higher resolution texture.

That's true. We posted at the same time. I updated the post above with a new image link.

Hi Mike,

I don't know what e-mails have and what emails haven't reached you the past couple of hours, but here is the deal:

1. I can export your temple model just fine, using the 1.0 .OBJ exporter (ours, not the one from Ryan Fleet). I suspect one of the textures is to blame (as the model you sent doesn't contain any), but I am basically stumped.

2. If tried to send you the exported model, but since then I can't seem to reach you through e-mail. I get the following response:

<michael.rowley@sbcglobal.net>:
Connected to 207.115.37.21 but sender was rejected.
Remote host said: 553 5.3.0 nlpi090,DNSBL:521< 62.58.50.97 >_is_blocked.__For_information_see_http://worldnet.att.net/general-info/bls_info/block_inquiry.html

Let me know what messages have reached you, and if I can be of any further assistance.

Cheers,
- PJ -

No. It's Riven. Smile

Pj, I got your first 2 emails. I don't know why people are getting that message when they email me. I'm going to have to get hold of att and find out.
I'll check out my textures and see what I can come up with.

@Jeroen and Daaark...Thanks. Smile and yes, these models are stretching my abilities. The beatles in the temple are horrible and I still have more work to do on them. It's hard to get those little legs right. :/

Edit...Problem with export solved. Smile

The dagger is the same like in Myst 5.

There is a lot of Riven in the games that followed it. The telescope is in Uru. Dagger in End of ages, and, I forget what part is in revelations.
