I'm making a terrain, but I have spots like the one in --> This screenshot <-- all over the place. Does anyone know what causes this?? and more importantly...how I can fix it???

Select that polygon in texture polygon mode (the wavy lines), and press "Gen UV" to re-generate the UV for that polygon, and click the "OK" button. The reason it looks like that is that the texture U (or V) coordinate is the same for the left and right vertices at the bottom, so the texture gets stretched in one direction.

and connect the top vertex with the bottem middle one, so you get 2 straight surfaces instead of a very weird surface.
