Hm, could you please add some kind of hint on the chat page to advice the users to remain patient and maybe highlight the other persons in the chat? I feel so sorry that I simply miss the people on the rare occasions than someone other than Elementrix joins there.

Well, highlighting a person simply means that you write his name, then usually the irc client flashes or plays a sound to get your attention.

Aha, thanks for sharing that bit of IRC lore!

I put the active-users-thingy on the list (low-prio, but fun to implement), I'll probably just have a little service running on the backoffice server that connects to IRC every 5 minutes or so, does a /who on the #Delgine channel and uploads the results to the website. I toyed around with the idea of having a real #Delgine - bot, but it would be a bit overkill (but soooo much fun, we could have it answer FAQ's, redirect to the wiki, autolog of all chats, cite fun quotes fro the community, Game Master for speedmodeling compo's, etc... )
