There's no direct exporter from DeleD to Second Life. Does anybody know of a good pipeline?

If you want to make "Prims" to import, you'll have to export them as obj, then import the obj into blender.
Second life has it's own...weird system. (weird as in different) Make sure you take their tours and tutorials to get the hang of it.

Last time I looked into this, the Linden guys were very actively recruiting Tool Developers to streamline such pipelines... looks like nothing much happened since. Sad

Back then, I decided doing prims in DeleD would be cumbersome, but since then sculpties have arrived, and those would be a lot more straightforward to export. The interesting question is: how many people would be interested in using DeleD for this purpose?

Combersom is such a mild word. Very Happy

It's been a while since I looked into making things for SL as I don't own land. (I have a friend who does tho) I haven't even looked into what sculpties are. (gonna have to do that)
At any rate, I'd be interested.

you could export to OBJ, import your model in blender (obj imports very well in blender) and use blender's second-life workaround to export your stuff.

OBJ exporter here:

Blender's second-life export process info here:
http://robynhuffaker.com/sculptblend/tutorials/tut_level1_startsculpting.html#exporting
http://remixreality.net/secondlife/?p=1

some tuts:

hope it helps.

Regards,

Alvaro
