Can a plugin assign vertex colors? I haven't touched this stuff in so long, I forget what the capabilities are. _________________

Really? I didn't know it was updated after vertex colors were introduced? I want to make something for my sand in my beach compo entry that alters the vertex color between 2 different colors based on the height of the vertex compared to the min and max vertex values in the model. _________________

Since it is a property of the primitve vertex that comes from DeleD and can be changed by plugin and sent back I have assumed so. I have not used but will try, and confirm for you if it can be.
Confirmed yes it does |

Okay, but can that operation be performed only on the currently selected object? _________________

DeleD sends you either the currently selected object or the entire scene, depending on some flag you set or something there. _________________ Behold! The DeleD Wiki! Please help us expanding it
