Anyone know how to properly align textures around a sphere to make a planet? Is there a tutorial or I'd even settle for downloading a properly properly textured planet in DeleD or .x format.

- select your object
- go to the uv window
- select all the face's on the object
- right click in the uvwindow
- select "generate UV - Sphere mapping"
- add the texture and voila
You might need PRO for this though, not sure.
it isn't the best sphere mapper and it creates some seams but it is possible to make some planets
I made these within deled:
