Grouped objects when imported, I cannot seem to scale the whole lot to a single axis. All the objects end up scaled but in their original positions. Ive tried thanging the preserve ratio flag but no change. Also when I shift and click on the group in the scene selector it does not select all the polygons.

Well, grouping only works for moving multiple objects at the same time but it's no good for scaling and rotating. I'm actually thinking about removing the Grouping functions all together because they raise certain expectations of how they should work (which is a fair expectation and you're not the first to mention this) and implement something better in the future (been wanting to do that for ages - actually tried it once already but it turned out to be too much work at the time).
What do you guys think: should the current Grouping functionality be removed or not? |

no because sometimes it good to rotate several objects on their axis at once, say if i have lamps boxes up in a row... it has its uses and its not bugging people THAT much is it? |
