Obviously I didn't realise how serious this competition really is. Razz

Totally awesome! Reminds me of Lindblum from Final Fantasy 9. Love that game. Anyone who's played it will know what I mean.

To me, it's missing something. It doesn't have the life and personality that your art usually has. I don't know why, maybe it's that it's all copy and pasted pieces.

yeah I know what you mean, Im still trying to figure out what it is, but It might also be that it isn't finished yet and all the white you see is not textured yet and the gray makes it look more dull, the final piece will also be from a different angle and with other things/clouds/ships around the island. (It needs more stronger colors I think)

I'm thinking it might be because we can't actually see the inside of the city. You have all those roads and trees. But were are the shop signs, or the signs of city inhabitants?

It kind of looks like an outer view of an empty city or something.

I said the signs of life, not actual life. Like I said, all we see here is the backs of all the similar buildings. Signs of life would be shop signs, street markets, a church, stuff like that.

My beach has all kinds of props to show that people have been there. It's not just a lifeless expanse of sand.
