Jeroen purchased and installed Delphi 7 PRO which will be used to develop DeleD from now on (we used Delphi 6 until now). DeleD compiled without any problems. |

Good to hear, but in buying it you seem to now be talking in 3rd person . |

Yeah, I tend to just step out of myself, see what I'm doing at the moment and then write a little something about it on the website.
That, or maybe I'm just schizofrenic...
Edit: a new record! Offtopic in the second post already! You get bonuspoints for that Chris - only 4 though. |

There is a Delphi 2005 trial version somewhere on the borland site, i think. But that's too late now, it seems _________________ Behold! The DeleD Wiki! Please help us expanding it

If you want to build stable end-user applications, don't follow the latest compiler trends (not with Microsoft, and definitely not with Borland). Always wait a year (or even two) until the bloody things matures and the first two update packs have been released (*grmbl* annoying premature-releases-enforced-by-marketing-people policy *gripe gripe*)
Also, Delphi 2005 doesn't have that much to offer for win32 applications like DeleD. And it takes 5 times at long to boot up the IDE |

Hehe, that's why I use DevC++ instead of Visual Studio. I don't need a bloated IDE that needs huge amounts of ram and CPU to basically run notepad lol. |
