Hej guys, normally i'm an environment modeler, but i just tried to make a character for fun.

I alrady compied to make the head. i've got a picture of it.



I'm now bizzy on the body. i will keep u updated.

whoa! Impressive! how did you achieve the symmetry? Does deled count with a mirror-modeling feature?

You usually only model half a character, and the program has a mirrored dummy object on the other side so you can see the whole figure. Then when you are done, you turn the dummy into a real object, and weld them together to get a whole figure.

I know a few commands that would help deled become a organic moddeler like:

- Edge loop tool (creates multiple edges through a certain path)
- bridge tool (creates a poly between 2 edges)
- scale/rotate with the gizmo in 3D.

nice head but could you show a shot from the side because last time I saw the side in the chat it was a bit flat.

Thanks for that - I really want DeleD to become more suitable for organic modeling too so suggestions like that are more than welcome. Smile

Btw, do note that rotating and scaling is already possible in the 3D view. Just not by using the gizmo but by dragging the mouse. Wink
