Well as I didn't join the compo, I decided to make a little scene to redeem myself Laughing ...so well here's the start of it, I was thinking about a forest and here it is (I will finish it, that's not all of course, I was thinking about the river entering a little cave, and some rocks around the tree, etc)
Just a teaser to let you know that I didn't give up on modelling Razz

EDIT: the subdivision in the grass texture, it's because of the texture xD...It's awfull

UPDATE: like 15 minutes later (had to eat and left the scene as you can see in the first picture) got a try at the cave Smile

And a closeup for the tree Smile

It is really hi-poly, but that's what I was looking for Smile, I'm trying to make my first hi-poly model in a long time (and my first time ever on making a tree) Very Happy

You've done well. That scene is going to totally rock when it's finished.

Worked it a little bit out, added a fish jumping in the air Laughing

BTW: I can't get the vertex alphablended to work Confused dunno why, but I set the "A" value to 1 and the texture remains solid Confused

Here are the new pictures:

And one looking up for the trees Smile (still looking for a skybox Laughing) :

Sorry for uploading so many pics Shocked

I only see fish jumping out of the air very close or in a waterfall because the stream is very strong there. If you would make a waterfall from that rock down it would make sense.

If you want to vertex alpha blend, you also need to set the texture to alphablend in the material editor. (the one that has the vertices that get blended)
