A few months have past... People gave it their best shot... and now... the winners of the DeleD Summer Compo 2008 are known! So, without further delay, here they are:

1. $500,- goes to Elementrix with 4.61 points
2. $250,- goes to Mr.Fletcher with 4.00 points
3. $100,- goes to afecelis with 3.97 points

We would like to thank all competitors for entering the competition and creating such wonderful scenes. Also a big thanks to every voter and other enthousiasts out there for making this competition such a great success. It is you who makes competitions like this so much fun so thanks to you all. We hope to see you all again in the next compo! Smile

News Update: Afecelis decided to donate his prize money to Gaz Davidson (from the Irrlicht Team). Together they are starting up an Irrlicht fund for competitions and other community activities. Way to go, Afecelis!

To the glorious winners: later this week, we'll release a little plugin that will allow you to easily export your scene including your assets into a single packed file. That will save you the trouble of having to collect everything by hand.

Unless, of course, you are Afecelis, and already passed that painful process. Wink

Oh, and congratulations again... you all did a fantastic job!

I'm not sure but this is probably one of the last large scene's I'll make (and the largest I ever made) in deled for the coming year and finishing with the first place is just totally awesome.

the money will be used properly, probably a mac or maybe a wacom tablet, still have to decide Razz

I'm just glad that Fletcher eventually got his proper score. For some reason, he had a very low score as the contest deadline was coming up. I sent him some angry PMs talking about how he had the best scene in the contest and people were giving him 2 and 3 star ratings. Laughing

Congrats Elementrix, congrats Mr. Fletcher, you guys did great and have earned every single dime of your prizes with amazing hard work. Also congrats to all the ones that participated. It was a wonderful, enriching and fun experience again Wink

About the gallery, you could also take one of those other images if you like them better, I just wanted to have all props in the final image.
