Hey guy's.. Cool

I'm posting because i'm really curious how DeleD 2.0 (or just the next release) is progressing.

So are you guy's now developing DeleD 2.0 or some minor release like 1.9?? Did you have enough time to work on them? So, what have you finished and what are the plans?

I'm especially curious about the animation support you mentioned. Is this still planned? And what kind of animation do you intent to implement? Object transformation stuff, or more advanced skeletal animation? Very Happy

I'm asking these things because some time ago, you guy's mentioned that DeleD 2.0 might be released during the second half of 2008. It's almost October, so i'm kinda curious how things are coming along.

Would love to learn more about it. Wink

We are in the beta, yes animation is there, no where are not allowed to tell more Wink

It's more like the end of the second half of 2008 or maybe even 2009, it's finished when it's finished.

Things are coming along nicely with the first beta given to our dedicated test-group early september. Technically, we improved lots of things so DeleD is better prepared to handle change in the future. Also, we added animation. Skeleton animation to be exact. We're also working on something else, but we won't tell anything about that yet. Not even to our testers. Wink

Enough time... well, what can I say. Not nearly enough as I would to have. Daily job is taking up much time but we're slowly getting there. I still expect to release the next version by the end of this year. This will probably be 2.0 unless we find some reason to release a 1.9 in between.

How will animations be saved? An animation file independent of the deled model (dxs) or directly in the dxs file? Or not available to comment on that at this time?
