Well, I decided to put my modeling skills to the test to see if i could model something okay,
so heres my try at a cathedral in a mountain, i quickly slapped a few textures on it for looks but its not done yet, so here is it:

The mesh looks good, except that the door is way too small i think.
About Textures:

- Texture scale on the Cathedtal is wrong, thoose are killer-bricks.
- The Textures on the Mountains & Floor are much repititve.
- Don't know about the windows, it could be a curtain or stained glass :)

Go on. I'm sure you can pull off better results with some Texture changes & lightmapping.

try to make some more detailt on it its a very simple cathedral maybe make the ground some less flat =D

when I read the title "cathedral in the mountain" I expected a very cool detailed medieval Gothic cathedral carved out from the stone!, why would someone make a cathedral in the mountain and still build it up with stones, you could really do an awesome scene here

like this:


try to really push your moddeling limits, and take the time to make something awesome, alot of the models I see around forums are quickly made and out of scale/ out of scale textures.

I think your scene is very hard to read, light maps can reduce this but still, do some research, watch your scale, look at your textures, spend more time Smile

I think i'm close to done but i don't like the textures at all...i'm going to try fooling around with textures a bit to see if i can get something good

Edit: I'm probably going to redo those mountains and make the _l_l_l_ like trim thinner
