I accidentally deleted the old thread. Oh well. Here are some of the old things I posted.
Club DaaarkChat.
This is VERY old DeleD here, so my modeling and lighting are very subpar. New guys won't know this, but DeleD used to be alot mroe limited then what it is now. You didn't have so much freedom to move vertices around.
More random very old DeleD Experiments. The lighthouse terrain looks horrible because of the old lightmapper:
Some later stuff, whena copy of DeleD pro fell off the DeleD blimp, and hit me in the head.
Fake Light bouncing test. My techniques are of no use to people who take fits when I answer the questions they posted, or think their stuff looks good already:
Wrestling stuff, from all eras of DeleD:
DeleD Summer compo entry:
(will edit in when I find it)
Properly Promoted Rumble stuff:
Recent Blendings:

What? I don't work for Delgine, I'm just a user like you, who posts his work.

but isnt it true, that when you post something on this forum, the admins may use it and put it in the gallery?
or did i read that on a other forum?
anyway, it does show a lot that you can do with the pro version, and not with the lite one. |

Stressless: No, we'll always ask. It's just when you submit an entry to a competition, that we state beforehand we reserve the right to use the image in our gallery and such, because we want to be sure we actually have the right to display the winning images.
Daaark: Thanks for taking the time to put all these images back on here! I agree with Jeroen, things look even more impressive in a high-density image post than spread over a full thread. (although the original thread included a lot of interesting background info, of course) |

Well, in that case i was wrong, but anyway, the screenshots posted by Daaark are state of the art. and it really shows that your able to build with your mind, and a 3D editor like DeleD... |

When I made DaaarkChat (which I never finished, due to the reason for it's existence suddenly disappearing), the vertex coords were stored as integers, and I believe they could only be moved in increments of 2! You can still see this when you try to make a cube in the editor that is less than 2x2 and it doesn't work. _________________

Like the others, I like seeing all your work in one post. It really shows how well you do. You didn't have to delete the old topic to do that tho. You could have easily edited your original. To each his own tho. This looks great. _________________ Some day I will grow up and be a real modeler.

I did it by accident. I was doing 2 things on 2 pages at once. I wanted to edit something into my post here, and erase something elsewhere. I did the opposite.

I think I get too much credit. Most of my work is done with simple shapes. Elementrix, Nocturn, and Fletcher are much, much, better.
State-of-the-art? My style is like 10 years out of date. I like really low polygon models with simple diffuse materials. I only make models for fun, to amuse myself.
I also work very slow, and have a habbit of posting too many in progress shots. _________________
