I really love that low poly cartoon style. so clean and simple (simple in a good way)

My favorite is the cave scene.

you shouldn't use so many vertical and horizontal lines, there is nothing that straight in the human body.

Those come from adding edge loops. And it was just practice, getting used to the shapes. I started with the calf and worked my way in both directions. That caused major problems once I got to the torso.
