i know, its early,
but when is the christmas event comming?

cant wait to start working on something white themed Very Happy

Why dont we also have a 'sinterklaas' event?
to all the ones who dont know sinterklaas, its almost the same as chrismas but than a bit diffrent, and earlyer.......

Sinterklaas, or Saint Nicholas' Day (my name day!), I wouldn't really call it as major event as Christmas Wink

well, it is in the netherlands,
more people celebrate Sinterklaas, 'or Saint Nicholas' than christmas.
At least, i this they do... Wink

yeah i celebrate that here too...we call it saint nick though and i have a very dutch background so thats probably why we celebrate it

(about "sinterklaas": this is an international forum and sinterklaas is only celebrated in the Netherlands, Christmas is an worldwide celebrated event and so it will be Christmas and not sinterklaas Razz

Stressless, to get a challenge going, all it takes is making a thread in the modeling forum and call it "Christmas compo" or something. Invite everyone to join. Pick a particular type of theme, or like last years, just leave it open ended. Those who have the time will join in. I always join in, but never do for the prize. (there are too many "Real" modelers here for that to happen)

well, we can wait till real christmas for the winter compo....
but we can come up with a other 'non-prize' compo.
just have to make some rules for the scene...
