I'm having trouble getting three vertices to fill and form a triangle. No warning message is coming up and undo is acting like the vertices have already formed a polygon. I've also gone around to check where or not it is facing the wrong way, and there is simply no polygon. Here is a screenshot:

The fill command is fairly buggy, sometimes you will never get it to work. What you can do is to be sure that there are no double edges/polygons by selecting (mouse drag) every vertex of the new triangle and weld. sometimes you will have to create a new triangle object yourself and just weld the vertices to the original object :/ _________________ Behold! I got it working, but I had to put in a poly-line and then weld it into place like you suggested. Thanks. Would be nice if there was an easier way to do it, feels hackish. |

Sometimes Fill does indeed create a polygon but it faces in the other direction so you might not see it. Try browsing around in the 3D view to see if the polygon exists.
Fill definately needs improvements. It's on the Todo list! _________________ Check out Figuro, our online 3D app! More powerful 3D tools for free. |
