hey all,

i was thinking to myself..how will i learn to use DeleD and i thought ok i will start with a tutorial which helped me learn a few things for sure.. thanks elemtrix for the TUT,
which i only tried yesterday when i installed DeleD
then i thought hey.. why not see what i can with what i have learnt so far.
had no idea what to even try and then i saw a picture of a temple in mexico and thought.. cool i use that as my base..
i wont show a picture of for comparison as im no were near to remaking it but the general idea i liked.

its only started and an actual temple/museum needs to go on top of the pyramid.

as i was making this i already knew i went wrong from the start
but as always hints tips and criticism (aslong as its constructive) is always welcome.

as you can its only a single texture on it so that makes it hard to see the rest of the steps up.

(braces for a bashing)

You have done quite well with your first model.
Click your model to select it, go into face mode and select some of the faces and change their texture. Your next step. Wink

It looks like you are off to a really good start. Since you have deled pro, go to downloaded (from the main page) and download some of the texture packs there. They are really good textures.

The textures, inside their individule folders go inside the texture folder.
You can scale a texture (the UV's) by selecting the face, then use the move, scale, or rotate options.

Looks very good for a first attempt. You've got a good sense of scale, I think. Looking forward to seeing more!
