Sometimes you can create similar objects using addition. You just have to do it in another way. May i ask what you want to do?

Thats how i create levels with doors, corridors and doorways, may just take a few minutes to create a base for a medium sized level.

1. Go into ""Object Mode" (this is the default), Hotkey O.
2. Select the "Cube" in the "Item Creation" sidebar.
3. Now drag rooms and corridors in the "Top View" with cubes only. Every
cube is either a room or a doorway/corridor. "Snap" should be turned on for this (F8 toggles).
4. Edit the height of the doorways. Still in "Object Mode" select all doorway cubes by HOLDING Shift+Ctrl and leftclicking all the doorway cubes (best done in "Top View").
5. Go into "Edge Mode", Hotkey E. In "Front View" or "Side View" select only the upper Edges by Shift+Leftclick+dragging.
6. Still in "Front View" or "Side View" press and hold left mouse button again and move the mouse down to move the edges down a bit.
7. When you are satisfied, "Unite" the cubes. First go back to "Object Mode". Select all cubes (i use Shift+A here). Now press the "Unite" button in the "Constructive Solid Geometry" sidebar.
8. As a result everything is merged into a big primitive and everything is deselected. Select the primitive again (Shift+Leftclick).
9. Go into "Polygon Mode" (Hotkey P). And press the "Flip" button in the "Geometry Toolbox". Now at the bottom at the toolbox the "Flip properties" appear, leave "Polygons in selected objects" checked and press "OK".

Done!

If you want to add more level parts you must flip the polygons again, with the Pro version you can use the "Subtract" tool.

Gag. I tried the "unite multiple cubes" to make a wall once. That was all it took and I purchased the pro version. Making walls out of boxes sucks.

My method works only for simple indoor scenes.

However, i would also recommend to buy the Pro version, if only to support the developers.

in deled 2.0 there will be a bridge tool. (connecting poligons)
this means you will be able to cut a door by connecting the 2 poligons on both sides of a wall. there is a thread about it somewhere. cant find it though.

i want deled 2.0
(i just started my own deled 2.0 campaign i guess lol)
