i had a sugestion for deled 2.0..
woudnt it be cool if we had nurbs to O_O
i hate it to make round objects cuz you see those ugly polys not perfectly round..that problem is gone with nurbs=D

lol, like it would be so easy to implement.

And I can guarantee you, nurbs are hard to work with.

95% of the students I work with hate them.

I can imagine us investigating nurbs in the future but in 2009, we will be concentrating on polishing DeleD's current features. No huge undertakings for a while now. Wink

I would rather want improved subdivion modelling, it fits into more situations and its easier to use. Nurbs do not fit into DeleD's philosophy very well and most people will not use or understand them.

Grandmaster B, you're right. Subdivision modeling and CSG are high on the prioritylist for improvement.

Nurbs might be fun to implement in some far, far away future though. Wink
