Hi all, i have a little problem. I made a little arrow bolt, but its not yet completely shaped. Now it looks like this:

I want to give it some things on the side, so i pull 2 vertexes away to make some of those. But now it looks weird!

But i want it to be like this:

(the red lines are drawn by me)

what am i doing wrong?

this is because you should always try to keep every poly with 4 sides,

to fix this, select 2 vertices and press "connect" then connect every 2 vertical vertices one by one.

a polygon with more then 4 vertices/edges is called an N-gon.

your making an arrow? Because if yes, you don't have to divide your cylinder that much.

What you have there is a concave polygon. Keep your polygons convex!

Use the Optimize tool to make concave polygons convex. Smile
