For us architects this really is a revolution as the mainstream CAD product available has always been Autocad and it costs several thousand dollars.
DoublecadXT, without competing in the 3d field, offers everything you need for good 2d drafting.

Another cool thing is that it opens Sketchup's skp files natively, so you can then export to dxf and open the models in blender.
