I'm having a problem. I clicked to make the top view take up the whole screen but now I can't figure out how to see the other camera views. _________________ I can spell DeleD BACKWARDS!

You should be able to resize the view by using the icons in the upper-right corner of the main window. _________________ Check out Figuro, our online 3D app! More powerful 3D tools for free. |

I have a request for a tutorial. I want to learn how to make a person like a knight or something. it's probably really hard. If there already is a tutorial for that please inform me. _________________ I can spell DeleD BACKWARDS!

I don't think there is a tutorial for that yet. DeleD, being a low-poly modeller is not really suitable for organic modelling. However, DeleD 2.0 will introduce animation which will open the doors to new kinds of modelling. I'm sure that new tools will be added to make these things easier.
I'd suggest you look for a 3ds max or anim8tor tutorial to get some ideas of how to make human models. I don't think DeleD has all the tools used in such tutorials so you have to work around that. |

OK but I am not very skilled with animating so I think I will wait for Deled2.0 but I have another question. Is Deled 2.0 going to be free or is there going to be a LITE version and a pro version? _________________ I can spell DeleD BACKWARDS!

there is going to be a lite and pro version, if you buy pro you will have all the pro versions for the rest of your life, If you don't buy anything you'll have to use lite for the rest of your life:P
I might be wrong though. _________________ Chickens RULE | www.elementrix.nl |

I have another tutorial request ! I want to know how to make a good looking tree with branches sticking out of it ( If it is possible because I know that deled is a low poly 3d modeler). Please tell me if there is one or if you can create one. Also I am making a house and I want to make an open door how do I do that? _________________ I can spell DeleD BACKWARDS!

This is how i would make a tree:
1. Find a good texture for the tree trunk
2. Find a good texture that has a bunch of leaves on it (a little bush).
3. Create a cylinder
4. Extrude it a couple of times and move/rotate/scale these segements to make it look natural.
5. Apply the trunk texture to it.
6. Create a rectangle
7. Apply the "bush" texture
8. Copy that rectangle a couple of times and put it around the tree trunk. This gives the impression of leaves around the tree. Expiriment with this.
You're probably using LITE, so you don't have "CSG-Subtract" to make your doors with. Imagine you have two polygons (both sides of a wall) and you want to cut a door out of it.
1. Split all vertical edges of the polygon and move the new vertices a little to the top.
2. Connect all new vertices. Your polygon is now split up into a lower and an upper polygon
3. Split all horizontal edges of the lower polygon in 3.
4. Connect the new vertices so your lower polygon is divided in 3. The middle polygons are the door
5. Delete the middle polygons (both sides of the wall).
6. Start to fill the gaps using the fill tool.
It's a quick example, and might be hard for you to follow if you are a beginner.
Instead of asking how to make things, It's a good thing to expiriment a little. You should read the help file and check out some of the available tools. Just play around. |

I had completely overlooked this sticky topic.
If there is a tutorial that is needed, and within my capabilities, please make a post with a poll, that people can add their vote to, to give priority, in the form of:
1) I really need this and quickly
2) I'm interested in this, when you have time soon
3) I'd like to know, but in no hurry
I'd like to think that users of the forums would have at least looked through existing tutorials and or the wiki first, to see if their query is answered.
I'm sure others will no doubt give you their experience and workflow to produce the same result, in many different ways.
