I'm glad that you've added ray tracing, but in the future is there going to be a way to implement it into your lightmaps rather than just using it for pictures.
Also if it is just going to be for pictures, are there going to be any plans of adding some type of shader support to use with it?
Could you'se also add the option the view your scenes in an orthographic view being textured rather than just wireframe, This has a very good benefit to it for making baked textures. I would really like to have this option.
As for the joints, is it possible to resize them? so they don't look like they do in the pic that I displayed in the 3d modeling forum. In my pic they are to large and I would like to resize them to fit.
Unfortunately I still don't care for your lightmapper. That's ok though cause Gile(s) is now freeware. Perhaps you could get permission from them and implement it to your software as a plugin. If not still easy enough to export the file to that program to lightmap with.
Some things I am glad to see though,
(Material selection, Very useful and saves tons of time reselecting individual faces.)
selecting edge loops are useful too, but I don't care for the fact of going through menus to use it without having to hotkey it. It would be useful to have an option to add edge loops as well. It would be nice to quadify the polys on an object after the object is created too.
The bridge tool is a good idea as well, glad you'se added it.
Also this is not a feature request for deled but the forums period, Could you'se add a forum so that we may share projects? Seeing that you'se added animation I thought that it might be a good idea to be able to share files. nothing big, but something so that we can upload samples of thing that can be done with the animation. like the garage I made with an animated door. |

Implementing a shader system is alot of work (Probably even more work than animation). I wouldn't expect that to happen any soon.

I agree, and I think something similair is allready on the TODO list. I'd like to have small joints when zoomed in. It may be usefull to have a joint size option (size relative to viewport size) but I don't think it's neccesary.

I do not expect to see any lightmapper plugins. That's because the DeleD lightmapper works OK (Might not be perfect, but it works ). Apart from that, making such a plugin can take weeks/months. It's way easier to export the file and lightmap it using that other program.

DeleD 2.0 has this (Selection -> Select Polygons by material).

Being able to select edge-loops is nice, but what are you going to do with them? We would need some new tools to work with them and that would take time to implement.

youse - You. Used in addressing two or more people or referring to two or more people, one of whom is addressed.
Except growing up I was taught to separate it using the ' as like you've

the only thing to make DeleD's lightmapper perfect is by making it possible to edit the UV's on the lightmap UVlayer.
then I might even use it again:) _________________ Chickens RULE | www.elementrix.nl |
