|
|
Hi everyone,
I was wondering whether it is possible to raytrace animated objects. At the moment I am making an animation and I made a fence that swings open. I want to raytrace each individual frame and save them, but the tool makes the animated objects invisible. Is there something to toggle so this does not happen? |

That makes sense because when you assign geometry to your joints, it is removed from the scene and added to the skeleton. Only geometry "owned" by the scene is raytraced, so animated objects are invisible.
Hope Jeroen and PJ will fix this. |

The animation geometry not rendering is a bug indeed, and will be fixed a.s.a.p. Thanks for reporting it!
Proper raytracing of the full animation is also on the list of course, but a bit further down the line. |
