bones where a puzzle we had to put together, the bones themselves where digitized so the proportions were right (can't really make it right by hand)

Im missing some muscles in the hand and foot though.

Finally vacation, learning a bunch of new programs now [Zbrush-Modo-Unity-Unreal Engine3-Cryengine2] so I got enough work to do:P

today I learned all the basics of Zbrush and tried to make a model without using a tutorial and voila the result [this is a baked normalmap on a lowpoly mesh of 150 tris]:

I'll try to post images when I can, my goal is to have a complete finished environment and know a decent amount of all these software by the end of august.

sorry for the updates guys, but most of my stuff lately have just been quick things to practise, wasn't really worth showing. and show animation stuff that is hard to show.

so finally unearthly challenge has started, after waiting 5 months and then get 5 delays after each-other so it was postponed another month, but finally here it is (when I got more workload from school >.<).

so the environment I'm going for is a broken cathedral which has been covered in foliage.

I made this quick mockup in an hour to get a feeling for it:

then I edited it a bit in photoshop to get a feel for the atmosphere I'm aiming for (this concept is far from finished):

and now I finally started detailing and setting it all up in unreal engine:

I have 5 more weeks to finish this and all the assignments I have for school so it's going to be a tough ride, but I hope I will make it.

I also did 2 other concepts and I'll be making the first one for a school assignment which is to make a 4 player deathmatch, luckily I don't have to finish it in 5 weeks too.
and here is the start of the concept for that one:

and another concept which has a bit of the same layout as my air castle some of you might have seen a long long time ago
(I also didn't finish this concept, yes I have a habit of not finishing concepts I make xD):

sooo, update done, for those who are interested in my unearthly challenge entry you can view my official unearthly thread here:
http://boards.polycount.net/showthread.php?p=1014515#post1014515
but I'll try to update you guys over here too.
ciao

changed the pillars, didn't like where they were going so here is the new one and this time also textured:

this is for the base of the cathedral
