Hey there, long time no see... had to sort out RL a little..
Anyway, was trying to do something real again. The last DeleD Model i did was this unfinished church. I don't have the model anymore so i decided to start a new one.
This is the result after a few hours, i'm really trying to get this finished this time It's good practice too!

I like that. It looks fantastic.
Funny thing, I was looking at it, thinking, wow, how does he keep his geometry so clean and neet, when in the next line, Jeroen says the same thing. How Do you keep it that clean? It really looks great. _________________ Some day I will grow up and be a real modeler.

Thanks for the compliment trucker! Well, basically i turn on Snap at the basic modeling of the shape and work with the Grid lines for the sense of scale. After that i turn Snap off if working with more complex Shapes like Arches or CSG Elements (they won't snap anymore so...). I zoom in to the maximum and place the Elements Pixelperfect to each other. It's really simple actually.
But most of the Stuff are Planes or Cubes which are easy to work with.
You can see the floorplan here to get an idea what i mean:

Raw Texturing has begun:

Very nice work indeed. It reminds me a bit of the Thief game series. Which I really enjoyed. _________________ Check out Figuro, our online 3D app! More powerful 3D tools for free. |

This is comming along nicely. I like the lighting effects. It makes it look like a real church. My only critique is the floor mat inside the door in the second pic is sunken? The mats usually sit on top of the floor. _________________ Some day I will grow up and be a real modeler.
