Hi, I was creating a little scene with Deled, and apparently I deleted an object that had some special god-vertex in it, because now when I try to reload the scene I get the error "No vertex found for id "-1"." Does anybody know how to fix this problem and restore the order of the universe?

Hm, i'm not familiar with that error. It would be a good start to look at the DXS File in a plain Text editor and take a look at the specific position... or if you can provide the scene we could take a look at it.

Also: Check the backup DXS File in the Scene Folder in the DeleD Directory (named ~SceneName.dxs) and try to open that one.

Yeah that happens now and then. Open the .dxs file in a text editor, search for every occurance of
Code:
vertex id="-1"

and remove the line(s). Reopen the file and everything should be okay again.

//edit:
Nocturn's in the house again, I've no chance to respond before he does.

And I have no chance of responding before either of you do. Laughing

I can't explain why you don't see that scene there, but you can use the open dialog like an explorer, you can also right click on that file within the open dialog and chose "open with" -> editor .

Well there wasn't an "Open with..." option, but I used Send To and it showed up where I sent it. Problem solved!
