A "Tutorial" that explains extrude. Everybody does it different, this is my way. I create nearly all my scenes / models this way.
If you play trough the Tutorial you will get this (Texturing & Lightmapping not documented, only the Building part!):
Download the PDF Here
Hope this helps somebody! If you find any errors, critique, questions please feel free to ask.
Cheers! |

Excellent work there, Nocturn! That tutorial must have taken some time to construct. Very nice job indeed - this will benefit a lot of people, I think. _________________ Check out Figuro, our online 3D app! More powerful 3D tools for free. |

Awesome tutorial. The only thing i missed was the texturing part.
A tutorial contest? I submit my "making a mech" tutorial haha (because I don't have time to make a new one now). |

I liked the tutorial.
Is there any way to remove duplicate vertices because of the multiple extrude commands?
I am asking because the final result is not "solid":
Also I noticed there there are a lot of double overlapping polygons and this is not good for a game engine.

Yes you can either select the Vertices. Or connect overlapping Vertices.
About the Overlapping Polygon on the Stairs: Yes that is an overlapping Polygon. My fault will correct if possible, just Extrude the Doorframe and then move only the two sides that are facing outwards. Problem solved
Thanks! |

great tutorial
If there are many tutorials, more people will support
this program.
Because the newbies, they haven't any knowledge about
modeling. They need more tutorial to practice their skill. |

Yes i will put it in the Wiki when it's completed. At first i wanted to do everything in the wiki but it's a little complex, but i found a nice Add-on for Openoffice: Odt2Wiki. |
