I am using DeleD (with two plugins I made specially for this project). For rendering I use OpenGL. I've written a simple engine that provides the rendering functionality. No third party libraries are used.
When I'm done with this project, I'm probably going to start a new "engine" project. I might replace this engine by a more sophisticated one (probably still one of my own making). |

If I were you I would get rid of the Obvious multiplied, half erased and blurred wireframe:P you know, metal scratches on the edges which makes it lighter. These very dark lines don't really make sense to me.
Use a bevel (if you use photoshop) here and there to pop the metal plates slightly.
Add some dirt/scratches that face from the front to back, showing it has been racing for some time. The dirt you are using now doesn't reflect that it has been used to race.
The red looks really bad, I don't know if it is a light, or just paint. But it just looks like a brush stroke to me:)
hope you can do something with these crits. Your game looks very interesting. _________________ Chickens RULE | www.elementrix.nl |

Hey Elementrix. Thanks for your comments.
It's actually the first model i have fully textured. And I'm quite happy with it (for now). I've been working on the texture for more than 6 hours. The game must be ready within two weeks so I don't have time to tweak that texture anymore. The red looks ugly indeed, but I did it on purpose because I want to replace that color (for the different players). (255, 0, 0) is easy to detect and replace. I could have chosen for a more advanced color replacement approach but I wouldn't have time to implement that.

Haha.. Thanks. Don't know whether you can call it a car. It's more like a futuristic hovercraft (It has no wheels and floats in the air). |

Actually i think the vehicle looks good with the really dark lines. The vehicle looks really small compared to the pipe and makes it feel like your shrunk. |

Very impressive! I like the lightmapping. It gives a very nice atmosphere. What happens if you crash into something?
I think I should link such videos on the delgine youtube channel, don't you? _________________ Check out Figuro, our online 3D app! More powerful 3D tools for free. |

Looks very cool! With some motion blur and down-tempo music this could be a very nice game like Audiosurf |
