Hi,

It has been some time i posted something, but i was wondering if there is going to be a Christmas Event this year. I remember the Summer contest, and a christmas contest, and it made the forum go up again. It has been soo quiet lately, maby a contest can get the forum alive again.

I think Jeroen or one of the admins should make a real event.
With something like a Open Chrismas Theme. Or that you have to select,
one of the 3 themes provided by DeleD Admins.

! Idk about gifts or anything with deled going open sors.

How about a inside christman theme, centered around the tree it self?
or
How about a thanks giving/christman theme? Where you could have all the good food found around the table? (hungry Razz

I'm all for such event. Ideally it would focus on DeleD going Open Source. For example, create a scene with the name (DeleD CE or DeleD Community Edition) in it somehow.

We can't give away any DeleD PRO versions anymore, of course, but I think we should see this event as coming from the community itself (hence putting the Community Editing name in the scene). It would be a community effort as as such, no prizes would be needed.

Anyway, my 2 cents... what do you guys think??!

So xmas + going open source = topic

Beside topic, what style should we go for? I mean what should the scene be pointed at?

As for a du date, how about new years?

As for a gift/prize... um... idk, but we should have one. Hmmm. How about we make it into a game? More of a walk thow where you can move around inside the scene and enjoy the looks.

Uhm, what about a christmas room where your open to fill that room up. Meaning that you have to do this in a room, and you choose what will be in there. With just for example 3 things that needs to be there.

1. a Room
2. a Candy
3. a Present.

For the rest, your free to build? Whould that be something?
And for a price. I don't think it is nessesary, but it's always welcome.
Maby a lisence for DeleD PRO ? Smile

For the rest, your free to design a scene.

I think we all agree on this point.
Maby we should make the dates?
example: start 15dec. end 31 dec.
