I just put the beta binaries online. Until the actual 2.42 release, February 15, only patches that directly concern errors (stability or otherwise) reported on these binaries will be committed.
This does not mean you guys should stop submitting patches, it just means they will be merged into the svn tree next week.
What we still need:
- Wiki documentation of turntable rotation.
- Wiki documentation of the new path primitive
- A nice screenshot of the pathe (/lathe) functionality, to spice up the changelog. |

So far no "new" errors on this end. I really like the path setup. That'll help when I start on AI next week.
The CSG tools still seem to delete things when used..
- Screenshot resolution no longer always defaults to window dimensions. (Chronozphere) -Works
- Merging polygons no longer results in an occasional Access Violation / Driver Error. (Chronozphere)-So far no errors
- Merging polygons now removes any redundant (colinear) vertices. (Chronozphere) -nice
- Moving multiple selected faces (i.e. sets of UV coordinates) in Face Mode now actually moves all the faces and not just the first selected (Fik). -works
- Merging primitives will maintain their UV coordinates (in stead of regenerating them). (Chronozphere)-works
- Using the polygon inset tool will maintain UV coordinates (in stead of regenerating them). (Chronozphere) -works
Paths will "bug?" out when you make them and then click optimize on them by making a small triangle. They should stay the same. |
