"Refill" - that would be my favorite new feature:
I select 2 or 3 or more neighboring poly's, delete them, and DeleD detects for me all outlining vertces - and "fill" them - by one keystroke, so i can rearrange wanted connections by my own.
Sounds easy, but possible ??? |

Nope. "Merge" only works on exact planes. |

Ok, then you should use flatten and then merge.
FYI: polygons should NOT be non-planar. This will result in strange looking geometry and will not work properly in other renderers/game-engines. |

I know that polys have to be flat, and that's what i want to do.
What i mean is what i have made here:

with lesser steps; especially the selecting of the outlining vertices is often a lot of work. Once the irregular poly is filled, i re-connect to get plane polys. I often use this to get rid of unwanted edges - and deleting edges isn't posiible. |

Maybe use the Vertex Fill tool? But that tool does not work in all situations though... _________________ Check out Figuro, our online 3D app! More powerful 3D tools for free. |
