While I have been trying to get to grips with DeleD (a few weeks now) I have come to the conclusion (because of the lack of reference) that DeleD can't be used to render models - I'm I correct?
I can't find any render commands (or not found one yet).
So if this is the case what does everyone use to render models to show them off (apart from in actual games) …. or would that be telling Wink

Most people use the screenshot function:

> Click with right mouse button in 3d view and select either "Screenshot" or "quick screenshot"

If you really want to show something of you can use the raytracer.
First make sure that the raytracing tab is visible:

> Click "View" -> "Raytracing queue".

Now the raytrace tab should be visible.

> click the tab
> Click the + sign to add a new raytrace task
> Now you can tune some parameters like image size etc.. click OK
> Your scene will be raytraced now. It might take some time if your scene is complex.
> If it's done, you can double click the item that appeared in the list of tasks to view it. A new window will appear. You can also save your image from here.

Remember that when you want to use the raytracer, you have to put lights in your scene, otherwise your objects will all be black.

Hope this helps. Wink

The screen shot worked, so thanks.
I now have a nice snap shot of my first textured house build
http://www.flickr.com/photos/22912429@N08/4443544925/sizes/o/
I had to make the roof separate or it wouldn't texture correctly (not exactly as the tutorials said how to do it).
I will try Raytracing later (not played with lighting yet Shocked ).
Interestingly, since I have been experimenting with textures (over the last few days) DeleD has crashed a few times and the only way to get out of it has been to Ctrl-Alt-Delete and close it in the Task manager.
Not a normal action this?
Is it a bug or something?

probably... make sure you have the latest video drivers for your graphics hardware. It might fix your problem. Smile

I've just checked the NVIDIA site and the driver download software says I have the most up-to-date drivers installed for my NVIDIA GeForce 9200.
It is a 64 bit computer so that may be something to do with it (that will teach me to upgrade).
I will just have to make sure I keep saving my work as it looks like the crashes are likely to continue Shocked

There is an autosave plugin which you might want to use. I don't have the link here right now but you'll find it if you search the forums. Smile
