It's time to take another look at the southern area. As i told you, there is not everything so well as in the city.
And: i took your advice and promote my little films on youtube. Have fun!

Excellent!
I'm still wondering what happened to the house though... Was it struck by lightning? Set on fire? _________________ Check out Figuro, our online 3D app! More powerful 3D tools for free. |

Yeah sure! I imagine a bad mage shooting a lighting bolt into the house, setting it on fire.
But I don't know of course, so you tell me! _________________ Check out Figuro, our online 3D app! More powerful 3D tools for free. |

That looks really good. I'd be willing the house was attacked.
For an updated terrain making program, (you were discussing this earlier) there is L3DT by Bundysoft. It's what I use. _________________ Some day I will grow up and be a real modeler.

Not only houses will be damaged.
Call me mad, but playing mostly a healer for severeal years, i haven't seen my profession represented in the environment of my MMO.
So i thought about a place where healers could do their job. Okay, in the fields there must be first-aid-things made, but injured heroes
and "tanks" should have wounds (and therefore lacks of power) until they arrive home, where they can be cured completely.
So there is a need of "The Hospital":

Have a look, take a thought, and tell me.... |

After doing some "bad" things, i got back to the green side of life.
So i made some progress on the "Outside of Meynheim" in the west.
Building some of the agricultural sites and adding a "source of power",
where some adventure can start - at least where a lot of work waits.
So enjoy my new video:

Because YouTube-videos are heavily blurred, here in better quality:

Awesome as always.
What are you going to do with these worlds? Any chance you create a game with them soon? |

You may want to try this place for hosting your movies. Its good quality and fast(ish) servers.
http://www.vimeo.com/
If you like, I can pop this onto my server, it has 8gb burst ram and just over 15tb bandwidth, so people can download/play it there
The movie shows just how much you are advancing with your project. The quality of UV texture mapping is excellent I can see this becoming a great game. _________________ Politeness is priceless when received, cost nothing to own or give, yet some cannot afford.

Thanks for the positive replies.
What for do i this? In fact, only for getting the background-pictures for
my interactive "slide-show"-like presenting of my ideas about future MMO's,
as i told in the beginning of this thread.
Because i'm not able to put all this in a real 3D-engine, i decided to use
a complete browser-based display, where backgrounds combined with
character-GIF's and icons. To get a glimpse of what it may look someday,
i built this animation, full of bugs and debugging texts; please ignore.

And again: If there is one, who is willing and able to use all this stuff in
a 3D-game, i would be proud to help with my creations. |

to F34rlix:
Most of my textures were made from photos, made by me or taken from cgtextures.com. Since i have no tool to make seamless textures, i do this by hand. And then - texturing a model usually takes 3-4 times long as modelling it. Like i alway say: it's hard work, but with DeleD it's also fun. |
