As usual, just go to the blog to read all about how I made it. I mostly just used deled for placement and room creation though...

That looks very spooky to me!
Tell me, you didn't create this one just to scare your kid, did you? In any case, very nice job indeed! _________________ Check out Figuro, our online 3D app! More powerful 3D tools for free. |

Nope, no kids until late August, then I'll have a little girl to keep me awake! |

Thank you all. I tried to take Grandmaster B's advice about objects outside the shot. This one took a lot longer to make, though, due to the fact that I'm not familiar with all the new toys Vue has since version 1... whatever happened to simple Good, Better, Best render? With all the options, I estimate I could have somewhere near 5 million combinations. Yeesh.
Though I'm not sure my model I'm working on now will use Deled (it's a closeup of a character... I think), I hope it will show my progress at learning modeling. I finally got my hands on a copy of Silo, and I'm finding its ease of use is mind boggling. I'm still too lazy to learn 3dmax... btw, I have a friend who's been loaning me his license keys temporarily while he's on 3d modeling hiatus... rich #$#! In case anyone's wondering how a poor schmuck like me is coming up w/ this many programs. I wish I had his machine though... he won't part with that... but, because of him I learn, and I express, and I have fun. |
