Okay I have this very simple test city level I have made just for while I create my games engine. I exported it to .X and selected the textures box but when I load it into DBP it's untextured, this is odd because another level I made that I loaded in dBP was perfectly textured! Anyone know what the problem for this could be and how I could fix it?

Haven't got a clue, as far as I know we didn't have problems with db pro before. You did store textures and .X file in the same directory? You could check the .X file manually (with notepad or similar) to see if it is referring to the right textures). Then check if the textures are not corrupt by loading them in some graphics editor.

If the problem maintains you could try sending me the files, I could take a quick look at it to see what is wrong.

Thanks I 'll try it out, the textures aren't in the same directory as the exported file is now but I didn't think that would matter because of a previous file I have exported with the textures and it is in a different directory than the textures.

I checked if the media was corrupt and if it was in the directory and it wasn't corrupt and it was in the directory. So Paul I'm going to email you the .txt file as it is too big for me too copy and paste.

Great. Both .X and .DMF would be best. Also, if you use non-standard texture files, could you send me them as well?

Okay I couldn't send you the fiel because of how big the text file was. Anyways I'm really suffering somethigns I export and put it other folders are completly textured, others are also completly textured but are missing parts of the levels. Then in the folder where my main problem was I've experianced partilaly textured things and untextured things and this is really starting to bug me.

First of all, when you say 'the text file', are you talking about the .X or the .DMF? If either of those is too big to send by e-mail, I take it they must be several megabytes in size. Can you reproduce the problem with smaller files? And if not, are you not simply running into some limits (exceeding 128mb texture size, having a polycount that is way through the roof, stuff like that).

I am terribly sorry, but unless you provide us with _some_ means to reproduce the problems you experience, there is not a whole lot we can do about it. As far as I can tell, exporting .X files to DB Pro works just fine, so there must be something different about your situation.

Well, both are too big and I just discovered this problem today it was about the file size, will there be any fixes for this?

Although DeleD is a lowpoly modeler, there is no technical limit on the file size, so there is nothing to 'fix'. If you stumble upon such limits, the most likely culprit is the 3rd party program, in this case DBPro. Or hardware limits of your computer.
