Good job. What is it? Razz

Would be an idea to use FRAPS to record directly from the screen instead of using a real camera. I can hardly see what is happening. Looks like some sort of robot. Smile

It does look good, I could make out it was a robot.

Before you go beavering away creating loads of animations and robots etc. be aware at the moment, DeleD cannot export animations. I believe someone is working on an exporter.

I agree with chronozphere, you should use fraps or a similar program to record a video. But it looks nice anyway.
Good look on your mmo. Smile

This topic has stepped into an area of Machimima, one that I've been very active in for over 10 years, carrying out projects for the ilks of L'Oreal, IBM, SaatchiX etc etc.

Fraps is a good and well known screen capture programme. It has a couple of drawbacks. Without paying for the full programme, you get a watermark in the output files. It is also limited to 2 preset screen size capture windows, half and full size.
I've used Hypercam2 for well over 5 years and would not change. Even better news, its now free.

As you can see on this download webpage, the screenshot of the programme, showing 'Select Region' & 'Select Window'. Select window is self explainatory, Select Region allows you to draw a capture area on the screen, in any size or format (portrait/landscape) by simple clicking one corner of the area and dragging the region box over to the opposite corner. This feature alone is worth its weight in gold, saves capturing screen area you don't need. In addition, you can drag the capture area around the screen, on the fly.

There are other settings that you won't find in Fraps, like the frame rates and some of the codec's, albeit I always capture in AVI (raw uncompressed) at 25fps @ 1200x1024 maximum.

You can capture sound, cursor movements and even have clicks highlighted, same as Fraps.
