Hi Community,

I am pretty new to 3d-modelling and DeleD so please forgive me the
very basic questions.

When I select an object in the edit mode , select move in the geometry
toolbox and then try to move the object via dragging the mouse in the
different windows, it always only moves the object along the x-axis.

Also when i try to move objects via putting numbers for the translations
in the "move properties" panel, it only does translations along the x-axis.

Maybe its really easy, but I cant figure out what I dow wrong here.
How can I move objects along the y- or z-axis?

The whole thing is also true for moving polygons or vertices.

Thanks a lot for the help in advance.

Hi and welcome.
It sounds like you have the transforms set to x axis ony. try pressing x while mouse over a 2d viewport. or look on top bar and near middle you will see X Y Z buttions and X will probably be pushed so click on again so all are free.
Now you should be able to use all dorections
