Would it be hard to be able to mirror a mesh entity. Sometimes I find a need to have just one interior floor mirrored and not an entire infinite plane. I know you can get round it by either sinking the mirrored plane lower than the general ground or using programming to switch the mirror in or out when you are at a particular spot in your level but to be able to mirror a single face would be very handy. |

.......Most of that was referring to Blitz3d which I use in conjunction with DeleD and I suppose the mirror issue would have to be changed in b3d (which I don't think will happen) but would it be even possible to have mirrored faces in DeleD . |

I'm not 100% sure I know what you are referring to, so forgive me if this sounds gibberish.
To my knowledge of DeleD, you can select polygons, then use Extract (deslect 'delete orginal polygons') and then move them to wherever you want them. You can also use the Mirror option on the selected polygons, from all axises.
Extract makes duplicates of the selected polygons from a mesh. _________________ Politeness is priceless when received, cost nothing to own or give, yet some cannot afford.

Thanks for your reply, It was my question that was gibberish to start with, I was getting mixed up with b3d and DeleD and it really applied to the programming in b3d. I build stuff in DeleD and export to b3d and b3d only lets you have an infinite plain (endless ground area) that reflects (like a mirror), I want to have just one face that reflects. Say you built one room and you wanted the floor to look like shiny marble that reflects the sides of the room etc. I used to use "reality factory" a long while ago and in that editor you could make just one surface reflect like a mirror. If it could be done in DeleD it would come under the properties of texturing a surface I suppose. |

Anymore info on the "texture to object" plug-in, I couldn't find anything on the plug-in page. |
