Good news for me, and for many others, i think:
Garage Games made a restart. They are so optimistic, that i couldn't resist to buy me a full copy of Torque 3D today.
Well, i never become a game-maker, but i will recreate my little town; again. |

It's better than "torque is back". It's "GarageGames" is back. Back to the old lisence that isn't so restrictive, back to no more shareholders to please. It is all good news.
For artists, it's even better news as deleds collada imports directly and easily into torque. (torque 3D anyway)
Now if we could get deled animations into the collada exporter. That would be even better news. _________________ Some day I will grow up and be a real modeler.

I know, that this is discussed elsewhere, but i can't find it. So i have to ask:
Is it a problem with the DeleD, or the collada-exporter, or Torque3D, that all textures are 180deg-rotated or vertical flipped? Does anybody has a solution for this, or have i to mirror ALL textures? |

I'm having this same problem with the Torque Engine. Everything I export from DeleD as Collada and Import into Torque has all the textures messed up?
So in reading what you all have said the quick fix is flipping the textures, so I guess my question is there a way to flip the texture itself or do I flip the textured face? Please excuse that question but Im still learning alot...lol. |

Flip the actual texture.
Another thing you can try is to export as an obj (or collada) and import it into milkshape. Export to dts from there. You can try that and see if it resolves the problem for you. _________________ Some day I will grow up and be a real modeler.

Hey guys, dont flip. The collada-exporter now has an option to do it for you.
See in the plugins thread.
Now i wait for the "vertex normals"-feature..... |

This is very good news. Looks like Terathon's C4 engine will finely have some decent competition. |
