How to use DeleD as level editor?

Hello. Smile

I'm making fps game and I need to do levels for it. I want to use DeleD for it but I don't know how to do such a things like: AI nodes, triggers, NPC movement and property nodes, player spawn point, checkpoint, entities and properties for them ect... (I haven't used DeleD before)

If there is a plugin that allows to add custom properties, could anyone tell me about it?

I use OGRE for graphics rendering.

I suspect what you need is a Scene Manager, not a modelling programme, to handle such things, albeit I am aware that Maya and 3DMax can handle such entities, but fall short of publishing a usable platform.
You may find Ogitor or Neo-Axis of use, if you are using Ogre based meshes. The exporter for Ogre meshes and xml within DeleD is very competent, as I've used it extensively within my own Environment development.

To get you started, check out the Tag property of a 3D object (use the Object Inspector to check properties). It allows you to specify your own key/value pairs. These can be used for a variety of things, and also for the things you mention.

Maybe you're looking for a program that writes stuff down as a text file, that way your game can read from the text file and see where stuff is stored at.
