Then either create a new material and drag textures on the appropriate layer, or drag textures straight into the material pane to immediately create a new single-layered material

Sorry to revive a thread but must the y be texture packs or can you use your own regular image formats and upload them?

Textures need to be in bmp/jpg file format, or tga (if you have PRO). Simply copy them to some subfolder of your DeleD\Textures folder and you'll be able to access them using the Material Editor. Smile

DeleD doesn't do texturepacks anymore, and even back when it did, you still constructed your texturepack by adding .bmp's and .jpg's to it.

go into your deled textures folder, and make a new folder called animeblood(or whatever) no spaces in it.

open your map in deled.

goto the material editor (not the sidebar, look for it in the toolbar). in the bottom pane, find the animeblood folder... in the top pane, make a new category called animeblood(or whatever). now drag your texture from the bottom pane to the top.

you can close the material editor now...

now in the texture sidebar, you can switch to your texture category and use your texture.
