Hi folks,
i'm still creating things for my little world. Here's another WIP - a deer, that i hope to animate some day. Meanwhile i'm modelling
the trickier parts like ears and eyes and mouth. The shown model, although i try to keep it as lo-poly as possible, has 2250 polys.
So when he is able to raise his head and rooaar, it will be over 3000 or so.
Another problem is texturing. Not the uv-mapping but finding a good and fitting texture. Tiling is no good way on animals, so let's see.
Have fun ! |

For textures, the first place I go is http://www.cgtextures.com/ . Its a site with 100s of royalty free images that can be used as textures. It is all categorised, so stuff is easy to find.
And best of all, its 100% free. |

Very nice work yet again, Harper. I love those horns.
MadMikeAU: thanks for that link. I made a sticky post out of it. Always good to know stuff like that. _________________ Check out Figuro, our online 3D app! More powerful 3D tools for free. |
