To import your own images, do the following:

- create your own directory in the Texture directory of DeleD
- place your images in that directory
- now start up DeleD and go to the Material Editor
- the lowerright window displays the available textures in all directories inside the Texture directory
- the upperright window displays your current scene materials
- now simply drag the texture you want from the lowerright window to the upperright window - this will create a new material with the selected texture
- select the new material and alter the layers on the left if needed

That should do it.
