I found this picture of the wooden sided tent frame

It is mainly used in windy conditions, where ordinary canvas would be too noisy or become shreded. I saw them used in the Falkland Islands, when I was out there on a contract.

I found this 'tent'... It's a 4 adult tent, lol.. you wouldn't get 4 adults comfortably in a real VW.
