This is becoming a very useful series of tutorials, very good work
Did you know, you can also select and move individual vertices in UV mapping mode? Beware though, it will drive you nuts if you try using more than just the UV map window to align anything.
Even scaling along both axises is achieved by holding down the Ctrl button while you move the mouse, this is true in all modes.
Look forward to watching the rest of the series. _________________ Politeness is priceless when received, cost nothing to own or give, yet some cannot afford.

Thanks for the tips. I usually just use the restrict buttons. I'm doing the layout for my castle model. It will be pretty simple. I'm going to use it as a base to show some more features. I probably won't have the first video up until a week or two. I have a lot of business to take care of first before I can get back to making videos. _________________ Today's heretic is tomorrow's hero. |

Hey everyone,
It's been a while since I last made a video. I'm here to give an update on my status. My computer broke a couple weeks ago. Hopefully this Friday I will have enough funds to purchase a new one. Until then happy game making. _________________ Today's heretic is tomorrow's hero. |

Worst fear for me, something like that happening. Hope you get things up and running soon! _________________ Check out Figuro, our online 3D app! More powerful 3D tools for free. |

Maybe I should make a video on NashaUV sometime. Some people use it, but I think a video would make it accessible to everyone. |

I definitely think more people would use its full potential, once they can refer to a video tutorial. Albeit, I believe quite a few people use it anyways _________________ Politeness is priceless when received, cost nothing to own or give, yet some cannot afford.

Looking good, and welcome back.
Not sure if you are going to touch on Vertice movement/placement in UV mapping, whereby you can select and move any of the vertcies in UV mapping window? If you do, its important to recognise a small bug. When you exit UV mapping, having done vertice moving, the last vertice you had selected (even if deselected), will remain live when you do other editing. The way round that is to save the model, and close down DeleD, then reload everything.
Whilst that maybe a pain, being able to move individual vertices in the UV map, is a very useful tool _________________ Politeness is priceless when received, cost nothing to own or give, yet some cannot afford.

Good to see you back! Took a look at your new video, nice work there.
A few comments, if you don't mind? You talked about a rectangle, while you were actually working with a cube. Might be confusing to some of the new users. Also, you were totally correct about telling people about CSG adding lots of geometry. Perhaps you'd like to show the Optimize routine after applying CSG as that cleans up much of the geometry created? Anyway, just some suggestions to make an already very nice video even better. Keep up the good work! _________________ Check out Figuro, our online 3D app! More powerful 3D tools for free. |

Ok I added some notes in the video to state the fact its a cube. I really wasn't ready to record that one I was in a rush and just recovering from an illness. I plan on going into the polygon clean up tools later. Trying to systematically introduce each function into manageable bites ... YUM ! _________________ Today's heretic is tomorrow's hero. |
