Hel Delgine people
Maybe I'm doing something wrong - BUT, I open the material editor to add textures to the floor category for example, then when closing Delgine (exit) and start again the textures I added to the floor category is gone - that is, I have to go into the material editor again and add them.
I was expecting Delgine to save my material settings in some *.cfg file and read that file at startup. Mayby I'm doing something wrong ?
regards

DeleD uses default.dmf (DeleD Material File) to store the default materials. You can change this DMF in DeleD PRO using the Material Editor, but this functionality is not implemented in DeleD LITE. Of course, you could simply add your textures to the scene and save to an empty DMF file. Then start your new scenes by loading that blank DMF file. |

Just wanted to add: that screenshot with the normal maps looks really (really!) cool! You've got to show us bigger screenshots |

he he, big shots are to come - I really like the *.dmf format its easy and yet powerfull in my opinion.
Hopefully a scene demo I'm working on at the moment with normal maps and real-time shadow maps will show that I'm right ... hell with cool textures it will look a bit like Doom3! |
