I have tried the website, where it advertises that the engine will be available today, but no links as yet.

I never worked out how to link this to a multi-user server.

Certainly this engine has come a long way just in the past year or so, since I last loaded it up.

Update, I finally discovered how to get a copy, its a long and drawn out process, downloading and running scanners, inserting code keys etc, not my idea of something that is free. However, I backed out when the license/terms and conditions are not written in English, but you have to agree to them.

In my opinion, he has a long way to go, and seems to have upset his paying customers.

How are you finding this software Dave? Have you linked this to a multi-user server?

This should end with the free version(out any time now)i think it will be just download & install.

I saw some of the awesome scenes you created with this and hopefully, look forward to more Smile

I think the quality of the engine is on par with the ilk's of Unity, some of the mechanics are a little off the beaten track, especially material handling.

On one hand, for a single developer, he has done a great job without doubt, on the other, hard to invest in a single developer, so many have fallen by the wayside, just as they appear to reach their success.

In my experience programmers aren't driven to actually complete a project to the degree we would expect, but only to prove their theories and making them work. Often leaving manuals and friendly user interfaces until last, then not completing them. I have followed the road of many a programmer to this end.

What this guy now needs is someone who is good at PR, can translate the legal terms and conditions, including manuals, into a good clean set of English language presentations, then follow that through with the most popular languages.

To make the download element very user friendly and not feel like they are trying to cross the Russian border during the cold war. The Pro and other versions must be added to his presentation and have the mechanics to acquire them off the website. To be honest, if someone really wanted to steal his software, it would be done at the blink of an eye.

Then give the developer as good set of 'to do' items to polish the programme off. I believe this will never happen, moreso because he would have to pay people to do this. At the moment he is trying to encourage those that have invested in his software to pick up the slack in those areas.

Its such a shame, to look at any content on the website, you have to either login or create an account. Free or not, a potential user must give away a lot of personal information, before they can even watch a featured video or tutorial. I checked out the forums, as I do with any programme, to see the type of bugs/complaints and activity. The last real activity was around this time last year.
I hope nobody here invested anything in this programme.
